Japanese evangelist
Born Kanamori Michitomo, he was one of the Kumamoto Band of young converts who pledged themselves to Christ in 1876, gave up the faith for twenty years under the new German criticism, and came back to preach one three-hour sermon on God, sin and salvation across Japan.
